Oh so handsome and clever - what proud nanny I am. Well done.
You don't know me, but I enjoy reading your blog and Mrs A's (I found you through CrazieQueen). I don't want to be a spoilsport but are you sure it's a good idea leaving these videos up here? I'm a primary teacher and if one of the parents at our school posted a video showing members of staff and other people's kids on a public website we wouldn't be very happy. I never post anything detailed about the school where I teach on my blog because you never really know who will see it. Just a thought.

Hi Kate.
Thanks for commenting, I think we will have to agree to differ on this one. I don't see any problem with posting these videos.
- I have not associated them with the name of the school in the post,
-I have not named any of the children in the post
- I took the video in an area approved by the school as an area where videos may be taken.
- The school policy does not have any legal right to prevent me posting material.
- The school has already received permission from the parents of all children allowing photographs and video of children at public events.
- The European court of human rights has already upheld a ruling under article 8 of the Convention on Human Rights; guaranteeing the rights of parents to take images of their children and publish these as long as the content is not illegal or likely to cause harm.
I'm sorry to say that this is just another case of society paranoia, what is wrong with enjoying images of children enjoying themselves?
amen! i agree with you wholeheartedly, aggie. i don't think there was any harm done here. ;)
Great readingg your blog post
