Staying sane

what day is it? It's easy to lose track in hospital. Doc has said I'll start the more aggressive dithranol based treatment today... So it must be monday.

A newly arrived patient kept up a shouting vigil last night, the rest of us were not impressed and i am going to put in a complaint; again a patient that required specialist geriatric care dumped on a general ward >:-(

As for me; my skin is less inflamed but still itchy as hell. I will be in here for at least another 2 weeks. At least i am catching up on my reading list :-) getting plenty of visits from Mrs.A, craziequeen, RCA, Nanny A to help keep me sane.

Oh and don't talk about the rugby:-(

Rugby, what rugby. I watched england play 'drop the ball' and 'kick the ball into the opponants hands', but I didn't see any rugby!

Glad to hear you're on the mend. I would love to catch up on all my reading, but wouldn't want to go about it quite the way you have.

My friend has been treating himself with biologics (in that after some hospitalization, he was able to take the treatment home and inject himself with it). After many long years of his psoriasis (and he has psoriatic arthritis) he's finally going into remission. I hope it turns out that way for you!

I have another friend who gets hers by IV (He uses Enbrel, she's using Remicade) and she's doing really well on it, much better than anything else. Both of them aren't just feeling better, they *are* better.

Hi Mr. A-I haven't been here for awhile. I'm sorry you're so ill but glad you're getting treatment now.

I heard that they've cancelled all Rugby until you get out of the hospital. :-)

Hi A its Luvvi/Liz we are missing you at PHO but hope you are getting very very much better! You're really having a tough time of it but hopefully over the next few weeks there will be a dramatic improvement!

Gentle hugs from me!
